Meet Tracey Horen Sexton, Late Comedic Star Ron Sexton Wife
Comedian and Indianapolis radio personality Ron Sexton was married to his wife Tracey Horen Sexton at the time of his death. They were high school sweethearts and went to prom together. Tracey while dumping several pictures wrote in February 2017 post, “Been dating this guy for 29 years! 1988 was a long time ago!.”
The couple eventually married in August 1994. On their 21st wedding anniversary, Tracey wrote, “21 years of marriage…it hasn’t been easy, but it’s been so worth it! I love you. I love our kids. I love our life. Happy Anniversary! p.s. I deserve a prize.“
Ron, a radio host, and comedian better known to The BOB & TOM Show audience members as “Donnie Baker,” has passed away. On Saturday morning, Sexton’s family posted on his official Facebook page to share the news of his passing.
“It is with immense sadness that we let everyone know that Ron Sexton passed away yesterday. He was Donnie Baker to most of you, but Ron and Dad to us. Please respect our privacy at this time and pray for our family,” the post said. Tom Griswold on “The BOB & TOM Show” on Twitter claimed that Ron went away on Friday in Ohio while performing his stand-up comedy gig.
Ron, an Indianapolis native, has always enjoyed baseball and comedy. He was a baseball analyst for his school’s radio station during his time in high school. Sexton’s Donnie Baker made his television debut in 2005 on “The Bob & Tom Show” with stories about the yacht he seemed to be selling all the time.
He also frequently used the catchphrases “State law!” and “I swear to God” while on-screen. Along with doing impressions of famous people, Sexton also provided the voices for cartoon characters including Floyd the Trucker and Kenny Tarmac.
