Street Outlaws: Fastest in America cast member Ryan Fellows has died in a car accident. The news of his death was confirmed via a tweet from the official Street Outlaws Twitter account.
The post read, “The Street Outlaws family is heartbroken by the accident that led to the tragic death of Ryan Fellows. We extend our deepest sympathy to Ryan’s loved ones as they process this sudden and devastating loss.”
TMZ reported that Ryan died while filming for the show in Las Vegas. On Sunday morning, during one of the races planned for the Street Outlaws, Fellows’ Nissan 240z. It was the 8th out of 9 races scheduled for filming. Ryan made it nearly to the finish line, but he suddenly lost control of the car. But the car control close to the finish line fell over and caught fire. He was stuck in the automobile, and onlookers couldn’t get him out in time.
The competition program “Fastest in America,” which is currently in its third season, centers on eight teams of racers going up against one another for $100,000. Ryan participated in the third season of the program and made a guest appearance in a Season 5 episode of “Memphis” as a racer.
