With Samantha Robertson, NFL star Jay Cutler has moved on from his ex-wife, Kristin Cavallari. In September 2023, the couple made their relationship Instagram-official. Three years after the divorce of the retired NFL player made headlines, the news finally surfaced.
On their said post, Samantha gushed, “Vive la France 🇫🇷Congratulations @chanelhandel @amackenzietemplar. The most beautiful wedding ❤️.”
Samantha dumped a series of pictures taken in France, Paris where their friend’s wedding took place.
Around the second last week of September 2023, Samantha posted another picture adding the caption, “Sunsets in Montana never disappoint 🫶🏼.”
“Jay and Samantha have been dating for a while,” the insider says, adding that “they met through mutual friends in Nashville.”
The source continues: “Jay recently flew with Samantha to Paris. Their kids have also met.”
Meanwhile, Jay has yet to introduce his partner on his socials.
However, the rumors of their romance first surfaced in May 2022. They made the headline after allegedly hooking up when he was on vacation with them and their kids.
Total Pro Sports reported that the former NFL star was recently caught “hooking up” with his friend’s wife during a vacation and the friends “know” about it. “Jay went on vacation with his kids and his friend and his wife and their kids,” a so-called insider told In Touch of the alleged affair. “The husband and Jay are good friends and also neighbors. Their kids are all friends.”
“While they were on the trip, Jay was hooking up with his wife,” the source spilled. The friend allegedly learned that the two had been “hooking up for a long time” and “is pissed off.” He reportedly decided to confront them about their reported romance.
As stated earlier, Jay was previously married to his ex-wife Kristin. The romance between the reality star-turned-designer and the former quarterback of the Chicago Bears began when they crossed paths in Chicago in 2010.
“When we were apart, we texted constantly, and he wrote me the sweetest love emails,” Kristin wrote in her 2016 book Balancing in Heels. “He was the strong, manly man I wanted but had a sweet, romantic side as well.”
After a brief engagement that lasted only three months, the couple’s whirlwind relationship came to an end. However, they quickly made up, welcomed their first child in 2012, and got engaged in 2013.
Kristin and Jay wedded on June 7, 2013, in Nashville, and their 10-month-old son Camden served as the ring bearer.

“We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of,” Kristin posted a message on Instagram announcing their divorce. “This is just the situation of two people growing apart.”
Kristin spoke candidly about her divorce when appearing on Kaitlyn Bristowe’s podcast Off The Vine. She described it as “the brightest and saddest” time of her life. She also disclosed that following their breakup, she and Jay went on a few dates in an effort to reconcile. Kristin, who ended it, is certain she made the correct choice.
“The thing with Jay is, we aren’t getting our divorce because of love lost, which made it really challenging because we were crazy about each other,” she explained. “And so I just decided I didn’t want to be in a toxic relationship anymore and I had to break it off.
Kristin continued, “But that’s made it hard and made me sit here and question it for a few months. But then going back and dating him a little bit made me reaffirm it like, ‘No, I know that I’m making the right decision.’ “
