Stevie Doc On ITV Mama Mia! I Have A Dream
Stevie Doc is one of the seven female contestants on TV’s Mama Mia! I Have A Dream. Stevie merely happened to go on the Mamma Mia audition! I dreamed. She made the decision not to apply after seeing a Facebook advertisement for the show. However, she ultimately made the decision to go for it when another student in her ArtsEd year tried out.
Stevie said: “I sometimes stumble into things and I’m a very big believer in, ‘What’s for you won’t go by you’. A lot of things that have happened to me in my musical theatre journey have been accidental.”
During her time on the television program Mamma Mia!, Stevie, who made an appearance, expressed that she believed her late mother was with her. She also made her debut on the ABBA reality show. The London West End musical’s Sophie and Sky roles are being filled by actors and actresses through the program.
Mamma Mia! I Have A Dream, is hosted by Zoe Ball. She recalled her first childhood recollections as singing and dancing in her home with her mother and her 24-year-old sister Karis. Despite not traveling to London to witness the West End productions, Stevie mentioned that she got her start in performing through karaoke.
Stevie managed to become one of the four contestants on the show and she is up for the role of Sophie. She added, “I’M A FINALIST 😭😭😭 I honestly can not believe I’m able to write this 🥹Eternally grateful for this show and I can’t believe I’ll be singing live on a WESTEND STAGE next week 🥵🥵 pinch me pinch me pinch me 😭 Thank you to every single person who has made this possible and especially to my mamma who gave me the genes and taught me how to sing through carpool karaoke on the school run 🩵 So much love 🥰.”

Stevie Doc was born Neve Docherty to her parents Gary Docherty and Gayle Docherty. Gary was affiliated with Emulate Clothing and Online Attire. Her mom is named Gayle Docherty is no more. It was her mom who called her Stevie.
Stevie said her family are all proud of her appearance on the show and that her mum – who was a huge karaoke fan – would be delighted. “I wouldn’t be doing musical theatre if it wasn’t for her,” she said. “She was always singing and even though she wasn’t a [pro] performer she was a performer in the house.”
Speaking more about her mom Stevie wrote, “I always thought my mum was very confident – like me, loud and Scottish – but she could be quite shy when she didn’t know people. She applied for MasterChef when I was younger and then didn’t do it because she was too scared to be on TV. She had the talent and, to me, was a very, very confident person but I think being on TV would have been petrifying for her. For me? Not so much.”

Stevie Doc Career
Stevie Doc began her career in theatre and musicals after the age of 15.
“I had never done a musical before and I only went along as my friends thought it would be fun. I was given the lead role of Scaramouche which was a shock and terrifying, but I quickly realized I was going to be addicted to performing,” Stevie told Galsgow Times.
“It’s probably one of the first musicals I was introduced to and also it’s a big musical for my family,” Stevie told ITV.
After trying out for The Dance School of Scotland’s Musical Theatre program, Stevie didn’t begin performing in musical theater until she was fifteen years old. When she participated in an amateur production of We Will Rock You, she became enthralled with theater.
But Stevie didn’t get into The Dance School the first time she auditioned and she realized how badly she wanted it as her future career. She added, “I was on holiday and my sister said she could hear me crying in the hotel room from the pool. Thankfully I got in the next year and trained there for two years before successfully auditioning for Arts Ed in “London where I trained for three years and just graduated!”

Stevie is a 2023 ArtsEd grad and has yet to make her professional debut.
Stevie Doc Boyfriend
Per her Instagram posts, Stevie Doc is currently dating Harry Tunningley. In August 2023, Stevie celebrated her boyfriend’s birthday. “The start of the birthday celebrations for Mr Hazza T,” Stevie wrote taking to her IG.

On December 8, 2002, in London, UK, Harrison James Frederick Tunningley became Harry. Harry is a singer, dancer, and actor from Britain. At the age of 13, Harry began training at Spirit Young Performers Company in 2016.
In 2014, Harry debuted on the West End in Matilda the Musical as Bruce. He participated in Oliver the Musical’s UK tour as well. He has an older sister named Alice as well as three older brothers named James, Ed, and William.
