Alongside Gaspare Randazzo, he was a member of the second pair that entered the vault and had to select between the two offers. They could either lose $10,000 from the trust but save someone in the subsequent ceremony, or they could keep $5,000 apiece and vote the same person out in the subsequent ceremony.
Bryce and Jake told everyone that they chose the second option after coming out of the vault, and nobody on the team ended up voting for anyone, which added an extra $18,000 to the trust. Encouraged by the participants’ self-belief, Bryce made the decision to come clean and admit to everyone that he was the one hiding millionaire among them. Many others looked unhappy by this, including Julie and Tolú Ekundare, who believed that Bryce’s affluence and possession of his own money was unfair to those who seemed to need the trust funds more.
