The Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner is ready to date 22 women on the show. These women have worked in finance, real estate, cheerleading, education, and even competitive aerobics. They come from both big cities (New York, NY) and tiny communities (Estill Springs, TN), and their musical preferences range from classic rock to Harry Styles. (One of them even attended a concert by the Beatles.) And they are all at least 60 years of age.
As always we relied on our spoiler king Reality Steve to give four names of who will see the hometown date with the Golden Bachelor’s leading man. However, Reality Steve revealed that filming of the show began on August 3 and hometowns kicked off three weeks later.
Reality Steve mentioned that only one month would be spent filming, thus this timeline works out wonderfully. For Gerry’s season, there were just three home dates.
Theresa a resident of Shrewsbury, New Jersey, works as a financial service professional. Her bio reads, “Theresa is a gorgeous catch with a huge heart. Theresa Nist has two children named Jen Woolston (nee Nist) and Tommy Nist. She had both of her children with her husband William “Bill” Nist.
Tommy was born on 28 June 1977 and he is age 46. He has been working at Carolina Sun Carts since 2017. He was the owner of Beach House Boat Rentals. Tommy attended Cranford Senior High School.

Theresa and Bill’s daughter, Jen Woolston works at The Roving Bar. Jen was born in January 1985 making her 38 years old. She is married to her husband Matthew Woolston. They share three sons Dempsey, Leo, and Henry. Jen owned VW Booth Bus and The Roving Bar. VW Booth Bus is a 1971 vintage VW Bus that we transformed into a photo booth. The Roving Bar is a fairly new endeavor for us. We named her Bluebell, and we had our first event in July! It’s a vintage Piaggio Ape from Italy that we turned into a mobile bar that serves beer and prosecco on tap! Bluebell is off to a great start, and we have a busy Fall ahead of us.
Bill is the son of the late Grace Alice (O’Neill) and Charles Nist. His sister Linda Nist passed away on 2 October 2009 at the age of 66. Linda was a teacher and resource coordinator for the Newark Public Schools for 17 years. She retired in 2007.
Bill’s other siblings are Charles W. Nist and his wife Kathy, Patricia O’Gara and her husband Tom, Raymond O Nist and his wife Janice, and Thomas R. Nist.

Theresa Nist is the daughter of Carmela “Millie” Mazzaccaro Galanti and George Galanti. Her father George was born and raised in Jersey City, he resided there for most of his life before moving to Manchester in 1996. He was a professional singer his whole life and he was a lover of music and the arts. He was a member of the Leisure Knoll Italian American Club and the Footlighters.
George also owned and operated Duncan Taxi in Jersey City for 29 years before retiring in 1990. He also drove the bookmobile for 25 years for the Jersey City Library.
Carmela and George also shared one son Vincent J. and his wife Sheila of Mahwah, and other two daughters Charlotte Farley & Raymond of Hasbrouck Heights, and Mary Anzovino & Michael of Lyndhurst.
George died on 23 August 2011 at the age of 82.
Carmela was the owner of Duncan Taxi in Jersey City and a teacher’s aide for the Jersey City Public Schools. Millie was a member of the Italian American Club & the Crimson Bells Red Hats @ Leisure Knoll. She died on 19 December 2014 at the age of 83.
