Below Deck Sailing Yacht returned our screen for Season 3 on 21 February 2022 and its trailer has got everybody talking.
Leading Parsifal III back to the shores this time on the Bravo reality television series is Captain Glenn Shephard (again!) and his crew, some old and some new. Tom Pearson, who we are going to discuss in the rest of the writing is joining the ranks of Captain Glenn’s crew as one of his two deckhands.

Sailing with the captain and Tom Pearson through the sparkling waters of Menorca, Spain are other are last season’s chief stew Daisy Kelliher, chief engineer Colin MacRae, first mate Gary King and the new companions’ chef Marcos Spaziani, second stew Gabriela Barragan, third stew Ashley Marti, and deckhand Kelsie Goglia.
Tom may be new to the Below Deck scene, but he does have prior yachting experiences. He worked on motor yachts for three years now. Though he said sailing with the crew will be his first sailing yacht.
Growing up on a lake, Tom has always loved to be in the water. He spent his days on the lake in speed boats and doing water sports, so working on the deck was a natural career option for him.
Is Tom Pearson Dating Anyone?
Tom Pearson did not seem to be dating anyone when he made his Below Deck debut. As proof of this, he even mentioned to Bravo that he is looking for a boat romance.
A “self-proclaimed social butterfly” who loves meeting new people while onboard is how the Bravo network introduced him on his BIO.
In a Bravo-released sneak peek for the season, Tom seemed to be involved in the romance which is talked about so much. Bravo also already had given it the name of “love pentagon between newcomers Marcos, Gabriela, and deckhands Kelsie and Tom.
Lately, when Tom teased a few pictures of him and Gabriela on his social media before the show’s release, he just referred to her as his friend. “Look at this hottie @_littlegaby ❤️ Never change my friend ✌🏼”, he addressed to Gabriella.
How Old Is Tom Pearson?
Because Tom Pearson was reportedly born in the year 1997, he turned 24 years old in 2021.

Other than the Lake District that he grew up in, Tom Pearson visited The Maldives, New York City, and of course, Menorca, Spain, in the last year. But, he says, despite his love for adventure, it is at home with his family and friends that he enjoys being the most.
His mom Carol Anne Pearson (on Instagram @carol.anne.pearson) worked at Impact International, a consulting organization, and lake district country hotels. From what she writes on her Facebook BIO, she is now retired and loving every minute of it in Windermere. She also cared to mention being in a relationship with Alan Wood. (No. Alan is not Tom’s dad.)
Tom’s mom turned 60 on 4th January in 2022.
Then, there is Tom’s dad Paul Pearson, now separated from Tom’s mom. He is on Instagram @pauldeansinger where he claims to be the musician and Air BnB owner in the Lake District. Paul also introduces himself as a vocalist/guitarist, someone who likes Jon Allen, Eddi Reader, and speedboating to Devon regularly.
As for siblings, Tom has a younger sister, Sophie Pearson, who turned 18 in November 2021. She and Tom seemed to have a very special bonding.

In July back in 2020, Tom lost his dearest auntie Margie likely to the COVID. Playing tribute to her Tom had said “These days are always a reminder that we should never take time with each other for granted”, in an Instagram post.
Also so you know, Tom is a dog person and he seemed to have two of them.
