Alfred “Al” Tyree Jr. is the father of Summer House star Alex Tyree. Al turned 67 years of age in December 2022. On Al’s 60th birthday in 2017, Alex wished his dad, “Today we’re celebrating my Dad’s 60th. Show my pops, Alfred Tyree, some love. Happy Birthday, Dad! Love you! … Merry Christmas to the rest.”
Al Tyree earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Miami University in 1978. During his time as a student, he worked as a Resident Assistant, served as a member of the Miami University Disciplinary Board, and sang in the campus Gospel Singers. Since graduating, Tyree has spent his career working as a business development executive and has remained active in alumni life— he served as a board member for the Miami University Alumni Association from 1994 to 1998.

Patricia is the daughter of Elder Raymond E., Sr., and Sister Elmira Lloyd. She lost her sister Cheryl Janice Lloyd on 23 December 2020. Cheryl was born in Lansing, Michigan on 28 August 1951.
Cheryl was preceded in death by Bishop Raymond, Sr., and Elmira Lloyd. The other siblings of Patricia and Cheryl are District Elder Raymond (Anita) Lloyd, Jr., Phyllis Stephens, Rosalyn Canty, and Benita Carnes.
