Actress Ciara Riley Wilson is the daughter of Nanette and Jay Wilson. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Ciara is reported to be of mixed ethnicity comprising English, German, Russian, and Filipino.
Born on 26 March 2001, Ciara is currently 21 years old. After spending her formative years in competitive dance, Ciara discovered she also had a strong passion for acting. Ciara Riley Wilson’s mom is named Nanette Wilson. She is the daughter of the late Dr. Hernan Leones Guiang and Josefina Espino. Ciara’s maternal grandparents were married for 52 years until his granddad’s passing.
Hernan was born in Bugallon, Pangasinan, Philippines to Dr. Rodolfo and Dr. Maria (Leones) Guiang on September 14th, 1939. He attended Far Eastern University in the Philippines, where he earned his undergraduate and Doctor of Medicine degrees.
Hernan started his medical internship at St. Michael Hospital when the young couple moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. At Harper Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, Hernan later completed an internal medicine residency. At Henry Ford Hospital and William Beaumont Hospital, he received fellowships in endocrinology. In 1970, Dr. Hernan Guiang was one of the country’s first endocrinologists to be board-certified (the first examination given in the USA for this specialty).
Hernan established his own endocrinology and internal medicine practice in 1971 at Muskegon, Michigan’s Mercy Hospital, and Hackley Hospital. He later became a specialist in diabetes medicine and spent more than 40 years working there. Hernan then worked for Mercy General Health Organization till 2013 as the medical director of the diabetic and endocrine clinic.
