Amy explained, “I was kind of done dating, and so was he. But still, he chased me all night. And I avoided him until he ended the night with magic tricks, which actually ended up sealing the deal.”
Brooks said, “I was a total idiot wearing a leather vest, but it totally worked.” Estelle added, “He likes to say he picked me up out of the gutter.”

There was deep water,” he said. “I’m one of 11 children, so Dad taught us all how to build boats. Seven boys and four girls.”
He took over the company in 1972 and is the only sibling still involved.
