In its inaugural season, Natasha was unable to conceive a baby and frustrated by the fact that her friends were one-by-one becoming moms, she embarked on a solo getaway at a remote cabin to clear her head.
However, during her seaside trip, a mysterious baby falls off a cliff and into her arms, and she witnesses four freak-accident deaths. So, ironically, when the very thing she wanted the dearest fell into her arms, she lacked even the most basic maternal instincts.
Now, here’s the twist! No matter, how many times Natasha tries to get away from the baby (knowing that it’s evil), the infant seemingly always found its way back to her.
Talking about the series, Michelle shared that she could “quite easy to tap into what Natasha was feeling,” as she didn’t have a baby herself. Also, she shed light on the fact that working with babies can be quite cumbersome.“Babies have zero respect for being on set. So, there were a lot of tears because they’re babies and there’s a lot of stimulation and lights and sounds,” she explained.
Thus, when the baby was finally playing its part, she worked around them and made sure not to get her lines wrong. Because another retake might not be the same.
Joining Michelle this season were her co-stars, Amira Ghazalla, Amber Grappy, Shvorne Marks, and Isy Suttie.
