The Real Life star joined the Jerseylicious bunch thanks to her best pal Teresa Giudice, and she brings drama in spades. Teasers depict Danielle’s conflict with Jackie Goldschneider, and she doesn’t seem concerned to put an end to claims that Melissa Gorga had an affair with Joe Gorga.
After the success of her mozzarella-making party with the girls, Danielle arranges a family reunion in a sneak look from an upcoming episode. This time, Danielle hosts a celebration for her daughter Valentina’s artwork, who is 7 years old. The absence of her estranged brother Tommy, though, leaves the family conspicuously without him.
Danielle thinks back to her youth with her brother as she witnesses Valentina and her son Dominic sharing a hug. She then worries that, like her and Tom, the siblings will grow apart. She had never done anything for Valentina before without Tom being present. This caused the family to consider their interactions with him. Her mother said they had “tried” to connect, “but it’s very sad.”
In the Season 13 episode, Boys Will Be Boys, at Danielle’s daughter’s party, Danielle’s parents get emotional as they mention their kids, which of course includes Danielle and Thomas. However, Danielle reveals she and Thomas haven’t spoken in years at this point.
In the episode, Danielle explains to the producers that she and her brother’s “roads” diverged, which is why she and Thomas are no longer close. She also reveals that she blocked him after he made fun of her on Instagram a few years ago, and he did not invite her to his wedding as a result. Danielle also attributed some of the discord to her brother’s spouse.
Danielle’s co-stars think the Staten Island native isn’t being completely honest about what transpired between her and her brother on RHONJ because she doesn’t go into deeper detail. In an episode that aired on March 21, there was a conflict between Danielle and her brother while the cast was visiting the Jersey Shore. Danielle overheard Jackie Goldschneider and Margaret Josephs discussing her with Teresa Giudice while she was at Melissa Gorga’s luau celebration.
Danielle answered by telling Dolores Catania, “I hate hearing my name,” in conversations she wasn’t a part of. Dolores explained to Danielle that Margaret was upset that she repeated Teresa’s warning to keep Margaret as a “friend” rather than an enemy. Things escalated further when Jackie and Margaret told the group they didn’t believe Danielle was telling the truth about her and her brother’s feud. They claimed there was “no way” they hadn’t spoken in years over “Instagram videos.”
Danielle was concerned because she kept hearing the women refer to her by name, even though she couldn’t hear everything they said about her. She immediately departed the gathering with her husband, Teresa, and Jennifer Aydin after Melissa informed her that the group thought there was “more” to the narrative.
After boarding the van to return home, Danielle admitted that she felt like a “jerk off” for discussing her and Thomas’s issues with her new pals. The “friend of” then declared war by accusing her of lying about her brother, and she warned Jennifer and Teresa that she wasn’t playing nice with Jackie any longer.
Family life has suffered greatly as a result of Tom’s separation from the rest of the family. “That’s the worst thing that could ever happen”, said Danielle in conclusion.
