Gordan Ramsey’s new cooking show Next Level Chef is here and it’s nightmarish than Hell’s Kitchen. Amber Rebold was one of the contestants who dared to participate in this inaugural season, hoping to make a name for herself and bag the stunning quarter of a million dollars cash prize.

Amber Rebold On Next Level Chef
Just like the title suggests Next Level Chef takes three teams, competing on three levels of a massive three-story kitchen. The teams were divided according to the judges Nyesha Arrington, Richard Blais, and Gordon Ramsay, who each mentor a level.
As seen on the first ep, the 15 contestants including Amber Rebold were split into groups of five and sent to a different level of the kitchen. Judge Nyesha got the Top Level, which included the best line gadget and gizmo a cook could ever wish for. Richard got the Middle Level, essentially a standard kitchen one could find in any restaurant in the country.
No surprise, Gordon took the Basement Level, which only received the leftovers.
Excited to make her debut on the Next Level Chef, Amber wrote over her IG on Jan 3, “I’m up again 14 outstanding chefs and human beings I can’t wait for the world to meet.”
Also, Amber spoke to FOX Austin before the show’s premiere. “The show’s completely different than any other. It feels like three shows in one. There are multiple elements of surprise to it. A moving platform element, and a lot of timing,” she explained the time.
Joining Amber this season were chefs — Zachary Adams, Reuel Vincent, Sergio Steele, Mariah Scott, Jonathan Harrison, Kenny Everett, Ae Southammavong, Angie Ragan, Courtney Brown, Tricia Wang, Roice Bethel, Gary Marandola, Stephanie “Pyet” DeSpain, and Devonnie Black.

Amber Rebold might be a chef but she was one of the two people on Next Level Chef who wasn’t making a living out of it. “I felt like a sacrificial lamb. I was so horrified. It was so intimidating,” she recalled her time on the show.
Also, Amber added that she was “extremely nervous” when she arrived for filming in the fall. Well, given that she hadn’t been to culinary school, it was only natural to be intimidated by professional chefs who were against her.
So, how did she make her living? Well, Amber was working as an account executive/ senior forest adviser at Better Place Forests as of 2022. Also, she worked at Austin 360 and Statesman Media as of then.
Before that, she was the account executive of Gannett/USA Today Network for 4 and a half years. Also, she has been the account executive of Time Warner Cable Media Sales for over 4 years.
Back in 2009, Amber started her career as a teller at TD Bank Group in Berlin, Vermont. She then went to joined NBH Lifetime Heath as a sales manager for over 2 years before finally starting her job as an account executive.
Besides her office jobs, some pictures suggested that she could have also worked as a model. Reportedly, she has worked with the photographer Travis Miller for a shoot in the historic printing press basement of the Austin American Statesman in Austin, TX.
Fun Fact: Ambe describes herself as a “Hip Hop Hippie Hillbilly.”
