Reuel Vincent On Next Level Chef
Reuel Vincent is one of the 15 contestants competing in a cooking competition show ‘Next Level Chef’ which premiered on Fox and Hulu on 2 January 2022.
Talking about the premise of the show, you’ll see 3 teams consisting of 5 chefs each (professionals, home cooks, and social media star chefs) competing to win the grand prize of $250k and 1-year of mentorship from three judges. The show features three-story open set kitchens where the top kitchen is an amazing modern kitchen, middle kitchen with standard commercial kitchen, and third kitchen with limited gadgets and kitchen supplies.
Three judges, (Gordon Ramsay, Nyesha Arrington, and Richard Blais) will be supervising each team. Decider reported, “the dishes the chefs make in the first episode helps the three judges/mentors decide who is on each of their teams.”
The elimination of contestants starts in the second episode of the show. The show follows the format of Netflix’s horror movie 2019 ‘The Platform’. Those working in the top kitchen had their pick of ingredients from a large table that paused for 30 seconds on their floor. With the same 30-second time constraint, the other two kitchens choose from what’s left.
And as always viewers will be promised and delivered kitchen drama that gives life to the show.

On Facebook, Reuel Vincent writes that he is single. With a promising career, and now an up-and-coming reality show star, women would be interested to get to know him more. But, he is having fun as an ‘available’ man. He has a few posts where he has fun calling his female co-worker his ‘work-wife’.
Reuel tagged @tristatelove in April 2016 as his ‘work-wife’ and in August 2016, he titled @nicolehatesu as his ‘work baby mama/work wife’.
Furthermore, in December 2016, Reuel posted a clip of himself taking shots out of a bartender’s cleavage. So, he is having fun out here before settling down with “the one” who he hasn’t met yet.
Reuel Vincent Family
Reuel Vincent was born to his father Albert Vincent and his mother Charmian Lewis-Watkins. There is no information on how long did his parents stayed together. But, Reuel lost his dad for an undisclosed reason. He had tattooed the day his father died on his wrist along with his grandfather’s day of death.
In June 2017, Reuel wrote, “You gave me life.. and I’m thankful for that… You were a great home cook, the best I ever knew… it’s funny how your passion is now my life……. Albert Vincent the man who laid the foundation for the Chef that I am now….. I know it’s early but you were a King of a father …. #RIP”
As for his mom, Charmian is currently married and happily living with her husband in Brooklyn, New York. Based on his socials, Reuel is very close to his mother. He once thanked his mother on his socials for not listening to the doctor’s advice but never gave full context on why so.
Reuel celebrates his mother’s birthday every year on 23 August.
Besides his parents, Reuel has two brothers. He never revealed his brothers’ names, his elder brother is married to Bethany Conrad Vincent.
Reuel Vincent Career
Reuel Vincent debuted his career as a prep cook at Creative Catering Agency. He had no formal culinary education but he used his time at the agency to learn the restaurant business through hard work and dedication to his craft. After working for the agency, Reuel served as a stage at the Gilt, Two Star Michelin-Restaurant at The New York Palace, where he assisted with the preparation of food and maintenance of the food preparation areas.
Furthermore, Reuel honed his skills at Gilt and returned to Creative Catering Agency where he was promoted as a lead cook. He learned all the responsibilities for this role, but he wanted to advance his culinary skills. So, Reuel spent more time learning how to source the right ingredients and how to create culinary delights.
The Agency then rewarded Vincent for his dedication and advancing his skills with a promotion to Head Chef.
Reuel has been working for One World Observatory at Legends’ ASPIRE at least since 2015. He worked as the banquet chef and also earned the title of “employee of the month” in January 2015. In this role, he oversees creating bi-annual menus for the restaurant, as well as researching and procuring seasonal ingredients for his menus. Reuel is also in charge of the execution of each event at both ASPIRE and the One World Observatory, working with guests to create custom menus that work with dietary and event-specific needs. He is also responsible for staffing events, hand-selecting each employee to ensure events run seamlessly.
