Luke posted his first video on TikTok on 4 December 2020 where he sang a country song ‘Beer for my Horses’ by Toby Kieth. Then, he posted ‘Long Black Train’ by Josh Turner. But, the fourth TikTok ‘ShantyTok’ trend which Luke dueted escalated his fame. The video has 4.5 million views and 614k likes.
Ever since then, he started earning fame for his voice.
In one of his TikTok from January 2021, Luke revealed that his voice changed when he turned 17. Now, his basso profundo voice has earned him 1.8 million followers and a total of 22.7 million likes for his videos for adding bassline to other singers’ shanties. Fun Fact: Luke had worked two years as a carpenter before joining the show. He also auditioned for American Idol.
