We cover it all below in this article. So, keep on reading to learn more about Alicia Rohbock.
Meet Alicia Rohbock, Rulon Jeffs Ex-Wife
Rulon Jeffs the president and prophet of The Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (FLDS) had 65 wives when he died in September 2002 at the age of 92. Rulon was marrying women well into his 80s. She appeared on Netflix’s four-part docu-series Keep Sweet: Pray and Obey which unfolds very disturbing details of a secretive sect that practices polygamy.
Her parents were members of the FLDS. As Rulon recalled, she had always wanted to be a mother. Sometime after high school, she went to her father and told him that she wanted to get married. Believing Rulon, the prophet, had the answer to their question, she was sitting across the table from him.
Shockingly, upon hearing Alicia’s desire, Rulon offered to marry her. While she was only 20 years old, Rulon was 86 years old at the time. In addition, he already had more than 20 wives at the time.
Alice shared some weird and disturbing practices when she was part of the church. Like, all the wives had to wait outside to say goodbye to Rulon. She shared that she hated kissing him after the others. She also opened up about her having se* with Rulon when she didn’t even know how babies were made because they didn’t have se* education at school.
Alicia further insisted that women were brainwashed to think of only the prophet’s will and had to act accordingly.
After the death of Rulon, she fell in love with LeRoy Jeffs, Rulon’s son and brother of Warren Jeffs. He already had many wives but she still married him and she was LeRoy’s favorite. But, their happiness was short-lived after LeRoy was banished from the church.
After that, Alicia married Seth, the younger brother of Warren Jeffs.
Alicia Rohbock Kids
Alicia Rohbock and LeRoy Jeffs are parents to two kids: RuLeecia and Rachel. Her daughter RuLeecia turned 18 years old on 26 September 2021. Meanwhile, Rachel turned 17 years old on 6 April 2022.
Moreover, Alicia also has a son named Josh who turned 14 years old on 27 September 2021. She proudly shares the pictures of her children on her Facebook. In late January 2022, she posted pictures of her three kids and announced, “My dearest children and best friends.
Mums within FLDS were forced to part with children as young as two when they were taken to live on the compound named Yearning for Zion (YFZ) ranch built by Warren Jeffs. In the show, Alicia recalls: “Seth called me and said he was taking the girls from me. Rachel was two and RuLeecia was four.”
She shared on the show, “I couldn’t say “Bye.” I tried to but I couldn’t look in their eyes and see the pain. “RuLeecia went screaming. It was so hard to give her up. I wanted to please the prophet but it was the hardest thing I’ve ever done”.
What Is Alicia Rohbock Doing Now?
In 2008, Alicia Rohbock was taken to Texas because of her children’s involvement in the 2008 raid, and there she witnessed Bistline V Parker’s representation of each FLDS member on the ranch. Alicia was expelled and fled the church presumably sometime in late 2012, at the earliest, and claimed that she did not learn “the facts FLDS Church leaders and lawyers had hidden from her” until “later”.
Back in 2011, she was also moved to a home in Colorado City and was subjected to shunning and other emotional abuses “throughout 2011 and 2012”. She didn’t leave the community until her after first enduring these circumstances long enough to be “utterly broken”. She then approached Seth about leaving, being admitted into the “United Ordere” for two weeks, and finally receiving “a revelation” from Jeffs that she was to be expelled.
When Alicia Rohbock’s children were transported to the Yearning for Zion Ranch (YFZ) in Texas, she had to face even more pain. She had to stay back when the kids left with Seth because just a few people were transported to that ranch. Alicia wasn’t summoned back until a police raid in April 2008 to claim the children from Child Protective Services.
She recalls believing her entire life had been a fraud after learning of Warren’s actions. On the broadcast, Alicia expressed her feelings of betrayal and anger about everything she was encouraged to believe was false. She eventually resolved to never return to the church and to keep her children away from it all.
According to our information, Alicia Rohbock now lives in Hildale, Utah, with her son and two kids. She was one of the plaintiffs in a case filed in 2016 against Warren and the law company that helped him seize control of the church.
