Lily Meola’s mother Nancy Meola was her light and her biggest supporter. But sadly, she was diagnosed with cancer in 2010. So, Lily then put her career on hold and even went on to become her full-time carer for a year and a half before she passed away in 2020.
However, though those years were draining, Lily’s mother keep telling her to never give up on her dreams. “I was really under a rock for the last couple of years with my mom. She was very adamant about me keeping my dreams intact,” the star recalled.
No wonder, when all the tours stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic, plus dealing with the heartbreak of losing her mother, Lily never gave up hope.
