TLC You, Me & My Ex Season 1 came in 2021 and explored several couples. One thing was common in each one of these couples. One partner was reluctant to let go of their ex for one reason or another. Chelsea and Matt dated for several years before a “dramatic” breakup broke them apart. And so, a month later, Matt started dating Kenzie. Chelsea was naturally not happy with him moving on so quickly. So, the two decided to remain best and only friends even years later.
Fans were quick to notice Matt dropping everything to help his ex, even if it meant putting her above his current girlfriend.
