Captain Jason Chambers and Chief Stew Aesha Scott returned for the installment and also a few new crew members were added including the deckhand Adam Kodra who generated quite a buzz among fans!
Firstly, viewers were surprised that Adam had only been working in the yachting industry for a year — considering the responsibilities that came with being a crew member on a luxury yacht. But it’s not uncommon for crew members to have more experience before taking on such roles. However, if you combine his inexperience with his other weakness, it’s a perfect recipe for disaster.
In case you missed the eps, Adam gets seasick, especially considering his profession. Dealing with seasickness while working on a yacht can be quite challenging, but he was managing it somehow. On top of that, he lacked swimming skills, which was indeed an unusual and potentially concerning characteristic for someone in the yachting business.
Additionally, Adam’s unprofessional behavior of leaving the deck unsupervised at night was a serious issue. It’s standard practice to have someone on anchor watch overnight to ensure the safety of the vessel and its guests. Failing to do so could lead to dangerous situations, as evidenced by the obnoxious guests’ decision to go for a night swim without proper supervision.
But then again, thanks to these intriguing elements in the play, Adam became a central figure in the show.
