Jeremy Renner and Amber Monson reportedly met each other at a Reno, Nevada club in August 2023, according to Jason Nelms who shared with DailyMail. They also video chatted all the time according to another younger brother of Amber.
Shortly after, Jason claimed that the two became romantically involved, and the Mission Impossible star began sending Amber “d— pics.” The Hurt Locker actor welcomed Amber and her family to his Lake Tahoe estate in November 2023, which sparked rumors of a romance between Jeremy and Amber. Jason said that when Monson’s family was having trouble locating his Lake Tahoe house, Renner called them “f—– idiots.”
“It’s kind of out in the boonies where he lives,” Jason shared in an exclusive interview. “They’re trying to drive out there and they’re lost, they don’t know where it’s at. They’re calling him up just trying to figure out where he’s at. And at one point he’s like: ‘What are you guys, f—— idiots? Do you not have a brain between the three of you?’””
“Nasty s— like that,” Jason continued. “They said: ‘At least come out to the driveway so we can see where you’re at.’ He said: ‘No, I’m in my socks, you’re messing up my chill.’”
When Amber and her family left Jeremy’s estate, they claimed the situation seemed to worsen even more. Nelms said that in an attempt to prevent his alleged girlfriend and her family from departing, Jeremy had sent his nephew out.
“They decided to leave. They were outside, getting ready to go in the vehicle, when Renner’s nephew came out and said: ‘Hey, all this will go away if you just apologize.’ He’s treated him like s—, called them f—– idiots, then expects them to apologize like they’re the ones in the wrong because he’s King Renner and you’re supposed to bow down to him,” Jason added more.

Amber Moson was previously married to the father of her baby. Although she never gave away the name of her estranged ex-husband there are a few photographs of him on her Instagram.
In January 2024, Amber posted a collage of her ex-husband and their boy and captioned it, “My family, the Monson boys.” Back on 23 December 2023, in another post, Amber wrote, “Reminiscing. A few days later, Amber wrote, “My wedding day with Baby Daddy,” while posting a wedding picture of the two.
In her profile, Amber states that she is the “proud mother to an amazing son,” but she omitted his name. In June 2020, she posted a photograph of the school-age son with her new hair color, captioning it, “Teal highlights and a gentlemen’s cut for my little stud muffin.”
Her son is shared with her estranged spouse, who is granted custody of the youngster, according to her relatives, as reported by The Daily Mail.

And Amber used to be a con. According to court records viewed by In Touch, she stole a state-owned car in Carson City, Nevada, on April 9, 2021. She then drove it on a high-speed chase, smashing it into multiple sheriff’s units and parked cars, totaling eight vehicle damages before being apprehended.
The Daily Mail was informed by the clerk of Carson City District Court that she later entered a plea of guilty to four felonies, including fleeing police, battery with the use of a deadly weapon, assault with the use of a deadly weapon, and possession of a stolen car. She was given a jail sentence ranging from 24 to 60 months.
On December 13, 2023, Amber was taken into custody in Washoe County, Nevada, for allegedly disobeying her parole conditions. However, she was later freed. Her probation officer busted her after she stopped showing up for work, according to her brother Jason, who spoke to the publication.
“She was dealt a bad hand in life. She’s definitely had some bad times with drugs and stuff like that,” Dillon told the publication about his sister.
Amber has encountered the law several previous times. She and her former spouse were the targets of two civil complaints in 2017 for a total of $2,500 or less, and in 2020 for a total of $2,500 to $5,000.
