Ana Cruz was one of the two Canadia returning participants (the other being Maria Garcia Sanchez) in Bachelor in Paradise Canada season 2. As always, she seemed ready to go all out to make her partner feel special — from cooking a delicious meal or sending a thoughtful care package — but had no tolerance for negativity and emotional outbursts.
In the inaugural season of the show, Ana described herself as a “hopeless romantic,” which is made evident by the “lover” tattoo on her finger. Her perfect partner was someone loyal, driven, and funny — which she held ideal even in the following season.
For those who missed her journey, Ana claimed David as the wildcard. But it seems David and Lisa had a history. The two went on a bunch of dates in Toronto before they got invited to an “adult summer camp” as an influencer. However, once there, David told everybody he was famous and had sex with someone else!
“[David] is like a used greasy car salesman . . . You won’t find out what a piece of crap you just paid for until it’s too late,” Lisa described him.
But this is from Lisa’s perspective. David’s version was that Lisa wanted more than he could give and he tried to apologize after things ended in a way that “wasn’t the best,” but she wouldn’t respond to his overtures.
Obviously, no one believed his story except Ana.
Sadly, things between Ana and David didn’t work out in the end.
