Love After Lockup: Are Antoine Whitaker And Lacey Rodgers Still Together?
Lacey met Antoine through her friend, who happens to be Antoine’s mom. For Lacey, whose marriage was on the rocks at the time, it was love at first sight.
Lacey fell in love with a young, hot, bad boy 12 years younger than her and although the two saw each other for the first time, Antoine quickly called it off because Lacey was a married woman.
A year later, however, Antoine himself called Lacey with the hopes of rekindling their relationship, however this time from the prison. Obviously, Lacey agreed with him and even left her husband to start a life together with Antoine.
Their relationship took a huge toll on their personal relations, particularly in the case of Lacey as she has strained her relationship with her family. The pair were already together for two years when the shooting of Love After Lockup started and as of March 2022, it looked like they were still together as Lacey had replied to one of the comments on one of Antoine’s Facebook posts.
While we know nothing about Antoine’s previous relationships, Lacey Rodger’s ex-husband’s name is Chano Guzman. She left her husband of 20 years to be with Antoine. During her confessional, Lacey revealed that she married Chano while both of them were in their teens, and she also told that he was her first and only at the time.
Lacey has four kids with her ex-husband and they are Ciana Rae, Lil Chano, Chanelle, and Lil Sergio. Her eldest child, Ciana, turned 16 years old on July 22, 2019.
Antoine Whitaker Arrest History
It has not been even a week since the premiere of the latest season of Love After Lockup and Antoine has again been arrested, this time for negligent driving. As per Washington Jail Records, Antoine was booked on March 1 and was released later after posting a $5000 bond.
Antoine has an extensive criminal record. For the first time, he was arrested on August 23, 2012, for the possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Between 2013 and 2017, Antoine was arrested multiple times, sometimes for negligent driving, and the other times for possession of a stolen vehicle and property.
In January 2018, Lacey’s love Antoine was again arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle. He was spotted driving a 1998 Honda Civic just a day after the vehicle was reported missing. Since Antoine was speeding, the police officers eventually lost sight of him. However, the police caught him some days later after a witness called 911 after seeing the exact missing vehicle parked on the grass lawn behind a row of hedged bushes of a nearby residence.

Antoine’s mom, Kristi L Whitaker, has been reported to be standing in the way of her son’s happiness. Viewers too are not much on the side of Kristi. One Twitter user wrote, “If Antoine’s mom is any indication of his upbringing girl your in for a wild ride,” while another Twitter user tweeted about Kristi’s drinking problem.
