In Season 2, they finally decide to only remain friends and when Aparna moves to New York City, New York, he helps her find a house. Yet, Aparna did admit that she did not feel anything romantic for Jay.

Until April 2022, Arpana was rather calling out for the matchmaking show that she went on not once but twice for its failure. She slammed that because Sima had a 0% success rate she and her castmates were all unmarried.
Yet, despite being 0% satisfied with her matchmaker, Aparna said she does not regret appearing on the show.
