Ashley Cruger’s father Tim Cruger is the son of Lynn and Christopher Cruger Jr. Sadly, both of them have passed away — Christopher on November 7, 2015, at the age of 80, and Lynn on December 8, 2020, at the age of 81.
Tim’s father, Christopher was a St. Lawrence University graduate who enlisted in the Army and was sent to Korea from 1956 through 1959 after completing Ranger certification. After retirement as 1st Lieutenant in 1959, he then began a career in sales with Proctor and Gamble, and later also worked with various food companies including Sara Lee, Quaker Oats, and Mrs. Smith’s Pies.
As for Tim’s mother, she graduated from Green Mountain College in Poultney, VT, majoring in art and drawing. Later, she then went on to work at J. Walter Thompson, a large advertising agency in New York City, for several years.
