Public jail records revealed former NFL tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins has been arrested in Washington State. He was taken into custody on Friday by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office on two charges, one count of felony harassment threats, domestic violence or death threats; and one count of misdemeanor assault and domestic violence.
The NFL player was reportedly booked just after 9 p.m. local time and was reportedly held without bail, jail records revealed. It remains unclear what led to his arrest and a court date has yet to be set.
But, this isn’t the first time has been to prison. Austin was hit with three charges in a DUI arrest in March 2020. Before that, he was arrested for DUI in 2016 and 2013. Seferian-Jenkins was also issued a civil infraction for speeding and improper lane change but was arraigned on the charges on March 11, 2020.
His 2016 arrest cost him his contract with the Buccaneers. Meanwhile, he was suspended from the first two games in the 2017 season stemming from DUI.
