Bianca herself also admitted to the cameras on the show that she struggled with self-doubt in the past but now feels “like a phoenix who has risen from the ashes” and is ready to meet her match.
Later after experiencing all she did in the show, Bianca also told in her interviews about the more than one occasion she wanted to quit the show. She admitted that she actually thought of walking away from the experiment every day when filming the E4 series.

In the third week of MAFS UK, viewers are introduced to John Joe JJ Slater and Bianca as a couple as they walk down the aisle to make a lifelong commitment. They were matched by the experts of course.
JJ was seen explaining to the cameras that he previously lived in Los Angeles with an ex-girlfriend. He revealed that he moved back to the UK from the States after his last relationship did not end so well.
Bianca, on the other hand, coming from an Italian family said she wants to find long-lasting love, just like her happily married parents.
Both looked nervous and yet pleased to see each other on their big day. But then, JJ also felt like he was not sure if there was a huge attraction between him and his “pretty” bride. Soon enough fans were put off by this. They branded JJ as “nasty” and shared support for Bianca.
Despite this rocky start, JJ and Bianca claimed later that they gave the marriage their all. JJ talked about being so involved in the process and living in that moment with his partner that he forgot it was being filmed. Bianca on her part addressed the topic of her siblings being sceptical of her getting married on a reality show. However, at this point, they chose to keep it a secret as to if or not they ended up being together.
Just hours after tying the knot, JJ had told Bianca she was not his usual type. Bianca was initially worried by this comment, but she said thought he was just being very open-minded.
Amid all this, some fans also started suspecting if JJ is instead back to dating Love Island‘s Ella Barnes, whom he reportedly dated on and off for three years.
Speaking to the Daily Star and other press though, JJ explained they were never in a relationship. He said they only dated over a couple of years sporadically, a few dates here and there.
