Brittany Rowland is joining the cast of National Geographic’s show “Life Below Zero: Next Generation”. She alongside her husband and kids is ready to explore and sustain the climate and topography and all the challenges that await them in Alaska. The first episode of season 4 of the show has premiered on 18 January 2022.
Brittany and her family are joined fellow casts are Chris and Jessica Morse, Chevie and Sonta Roach, and their three children, Sydney, Ryder and Emery, Johnny Rolfe, Kaleb, Robert & RJ Miller, and Alex Javor.
The main focus for Brittany and her family on the show would be to build and complete a project for their family to survive in season 4. The family left their modern style of living to live in the old mining town of McCarthy, Alaska. Joseph Litzinger, producer of “Life Below Zero” spoke to Reality Blurred and explained that the spin-off idea was born out of the idea to find people “who recently moved out [to Alaska], or who have one foot in civilization and one foot in the wilderness.”
This particular fact made the casting of the “Next Generation” cast different from the original show. They mined people who fit the descriptions, and they looked for blogs, YouTube videos, and someone who had a minor online presence.
Kaleb and Brittany were among them who were trying to live full-time in Alaska. Brittany has appeared on season two and season 3 of “Next Generation” while appearing on 16 episodes in total.

Brittany Rowland and her husband Kaleb Rowland have been married for 9 years as of 2022. The couple tied the knots on 4 July 2021. They reportedly met each other in 2011. The couple made a decision to raise their two children Gilbert, 7 (born on 17 January), and Elovie, 5 in McCarthy.

In April 2021 post, Brittany shared that Kaleb is an amazing father and husband, a very hard worker, and an adventurous individual. The first year around when her husband was around her family, Brittany’s sister didn’t think Kaleb didn’t like her because of his stoic nature. He enjoyed sitting and listening unless you bring up his favorite topics (building, flying, or snow machining).
Brittany and Kaleb shared three kids; Gilbert and Elovie, as already mentioned. But, their daughter Eve died shortly after her birth due to heart and Lung defects otherwise she would’ve been 4 years old. She wrote an entire post about her late daughter in October 2020. There she stated that Brittany was 24 weeks when her world turned upside down.
Brittany had begged to either heal her or take her quickly. She was 36 weeks pregnant when she found out that her daughter had another complication that was all but a death sentence. Even passed away ten hours thirty-two minutes after her birth.
Moreover, Brittany and Kaleb’s first child Gilber’s birth was featured in a newspaper. Kaleb is the oldest son of Keith
and Laurie Rowland of McCarthy.
