How he became part of the crew. He told Closet Mag, “I think I was good for the part and met the right people. A friend of mine, Jaime Laurita, who I worked with on Madonna’s Rebel Heart Tour, is a close friend of Michelle Visage and he made the connection. That’s how everything started. I am grateful for both of them.”
After he was introduced he spoke to the production over the phone a few times. He sent them a few pictures and agreed to work together as a test to see how it would go. He added, “My first job with them was a music video for the song “The Bitch is Back” for Elton John, used on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour. I knew it was a test but I had so much fun. Then, I finally signed up to do Drag Race. We were talking about one or two episodes at first, I am happy it became much more than that.”
