On CBS, Big Brother revealed the 16 brand-new house guests for its 25th season, one of whom is from Central Georgia. On Wednesday, a stay-at-home father from Eastman named Cameron Hardin joined 15 other house guests in the live, 90-minute premiere of Big Brother.
Cameron intends to stay in the house for the remaining 14 weeks in order to win the $750,000 grand prize. The cast for this season comprises an Australian DJ, a Deaflympics gold medalist, a brand strategist, a geriatric doctor, a professional flutist, and an exterminator. Because he views himself as athletic, intelligent, and able to forge bonds with others, Cameron is convinced that he can win the game. While he is upbeat about what he can do in the game, he does have one area where he believes he might have trouble once he gets inside the house.
“I am a huge super fan of Big Brother. I have lived to come into this house,” Cameron told 13WMAZ. He added, “I have probably auditioned five or six times. And finally getting into the house right now for the 25th season, I cannot tell you how special it is.”
Speaking of joining the show, Cameron said, “Being a part of Big Brother history is incredible. Being part of the 25th season, silver anniversary, I can’t wait to see how nuts this gets. It means more to me that I’m a part of something in 25.” No matter how jumbled up things get in Big Brother, Cameron is ready for it all.
Cameron joined the CBS show because you have to “gamble on everything and leave everything behind and go locked down in a house with a bunch of strangers.” He admires the mental fortitude required to run this gave.
So, one of Cameron’s strategies is to build connections with people and drive relationships forward. He is confident that he is going to win because he believes he has what it takes to go that extra length.
Cameron insists, “I’m athletic, sharp. I build relationships and go the distance. I have an incredible knack for learning people very well. It’s a salesman tactic, but more so I just love connecting with people. My ability to connect with people is going to help me understand them in depth so that I know what kind of moves they would make and I know who I can try to trust and who I can definitely not rely on.”

Cameron’s father Ray, is the son of Mr. Roy “Bud” Hardin and Sarah S. Hardin. Roy passed away on 17 February 2014 at the age of 88. He was survived by his daughter, Betty Hilliard; stepsons, Randy Smith (Cindy) and Bruce Smith (Amy). He was preceded in death by his son, Royal Douglas Hardin.
