Cassidy Hutchinson Bio, Age, Married, Education, Family

Meet Cassidy Hutchinson, the former White House intern who testified in the January 6 Hearing on 28 June 2022.

United States House Select Committee began conducting January 6 Hearings on 9 June. The purpose of the hearing was to investigate the attack on the United States Capitol that occurred on Jan. 6, 2021. In addition, it is to investigate former President Donald Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.

The hearing ended on 28 June 2022 with Cassidy Hutchinson’s testimony. Cassidy was working as the executive assistant to Donald Trump’s former chief of staff Mark Meadows at the time.

Former Pence secretary Alyssa Farah Griffin spoke with PolitiFact and described Cassidy via text as a “consummate West Wing insider”.

Below you’ll learn about her career, job, relationship status, and details regarding her parents.

Cassidy Hutchinson Testimony

On the ending day of the hearing, Cassidy shared some gory detail about the final days of the Trump administration leading up to and during the January 6 attack on the Capitol.

She related a tale that was at once heartbreaking and humorous, in which Donald Trump demanded to be taken to the Capitol but was told by the Secret Service that he needed to go back to the West Wing for his own safety. “I’m the f—ing president. Take me up to the Capitol now” he said as reported. Cassidy claimed that former President Trump lunged at Secret Service Agent Bobby Engel in an effort to choke him after not getting his way. It resembled a small uprising within the car.

The Los Angeles Times also reported some of the distressing details from Cassidy’s testimony. One of them included her and White House deputy chief of staff Tony Ornato telling Mark Meadows that “the assembling Jan. 6 rally crowd was dripping with guns, knives, body armor, bear spray, even flagpoles tipped, as Ornato told Meadows, with ‘effing spears.'” Meadows’s response was simply, “All right. Anything else?” while barely glancing up from his phone.

Later, Cassidy stated that Trump learned that former Attorney General Bill Barr had told the Associated Press that he had lost the 2020 election. “I remember hearing noise,” Cassidy said. It was coming from the White House dining room. “I first noticed there was ketchup dripping down the wall and there was a shattered porcelain plate on the floor”.

It appears like former President Trump had an unhappy meal, throwing his entire plate against the wall. No one can dispute Cassidy Hutchinson’s achievement of her goal today; it appears she came to Washington, D.C., with the intention of making a difference.
