Fast forward 2017, Channing was then appointed as the co-leader of the technology advisory board of Theranos. However, just a year later, questions were raised over the company’s work ethic and claims to be able to run several tests with just a few drops of blood.

According to Lawyer Reed Kathrein, who represented the investors who sued Elizabeth, she alleged that Channing was merely hired to provide credibility to Theranos. But Channing never responded to the claims.
Elizabeth’s trial concluded in January 2022, and she was awaiting sentencing at the time of writing this article.
As for Channing, his whereabouts now is unknown. He’s remained lowkey after his life with Theranos. But we do know that he started working as an emeritus professor at Stanford again and taught a course about Busting Energy Myths.
