Late country singer Charlie Robison at the time of his untimely passing was married to Kristen Robison. The couple exchanged their wedding vows in June 2015. One of the individuals who attended their wedding was TheSaltwaterCowboy.com owner Scott McCune.
In 2015, Scott posted a pic from the day of their wedding and wrote, “Right Now!” A year later, he wished them, “Happy anniversary y’all.” Charlie became a stepdad to her children.

Before marrying Kristen, Charlie was married to Emily Erwin Strayer. They married in 1998, according to KIRO-TV, and welcomed three children together named Gus, Julianna, and Henry. The couple’s marriage ended in divorce in 2008.
Charlie shared that he found inspiration for his new album, “Beautiful Day” in his collapsing marriage to Dixie Chick Emily. “We decided we were getting a divorce on the day I was in the studio cutting,” Charlie told Cleveland in 2009. “It wasn’t a look back on divorce or looking forward at what it could be. It was actually what was going on at the time.”
“It’s not the fault of either one of us,” he added further. “We were just following our careers. That’s pretty much why a lot of entertainment relationships don’t work.”

Paul Erwin and Barbara Trask are her parents. Martie Maguire is her sibling. Along with Natalie Maines and her sister Martie, she performs on the banjo for the musical group The Chicks.
Emily was a prominent character in the 2000 song Dixie Chicks on the Fly, along with Natalie and Martie. They also contributed songs to the 1999 Julia Roberts movie Runaway Bride.

Kristen Robison is an RN, VP of Governmental Affairs at Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health. In August 2020, Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health congratulated Kristen was installed as President of the Texas Association for Home Care and Hospice (TAHCH).
Additionally, since becoming involved in TAHCH, Kristen has advocated for home health agencies in multiple settings at both state and federal levels. Her roles have included Chair of the Pediatric Committee, a member of the TAHCH Board of Directors in the Pediatric Auspice, and, as of this August, she is now the President-Elect. She held the position until next year when she became President.
After that, she took on the position of Immediate Past President for a year, resulting in a four-year term. In addition to her numerous roles at TAHCH, Kristen has also been honored for her commitment to advocacy in the home health and hospice community as 2017 and 2018 Chairperson of the Year.
Furthermore, back in 2016, the organization congratulated her for “being elected to a two-year term on the Nominating Committee and selected to be this year’s Chair of the Pediatric Committee for the Pediatric Texas Association for Home Care & Hospice.”
They added further, “Kristen has been a member of the Pediatric Committee for several years, holding the Private Duty Nursing Sub-Committee chair this previous year. Since becoming an RN in 2006, Kristen has been a passionate advocate for children with special needs.”
Kristen went to Tom Bean Independent School District and graduated in 2003. She received college education at Austin College and Grayson County College.
