Claire Cornett and Desmond Ridder officially began their relationship on May 19, 2016.
Dating for over 4 years, in Nov 2020, Claire then took it to her IG to reveal the good news about their pregnancy captioned, “Baby Ridder coming April 2021!!! counting down the days till we meet our little one. swipe to find out the gender!!”

In March next year, the two then held the baby shower program, and the next month, on April 19, 2021, their daughter Leighton Elizabeth Ridder stepped into this world.

During his time in Cincinnati, Desmond was named the “Walter Camp Offensive Player of the Week” and the “Davey O’Brien National Quarterback of the Week” in the 2020 season. Also, in 2021, he again received the title “Davey O’Brien National Quarterback of the Week” after the No. 7 Bearcats defeated No. 9, Notre Dame, on the road.
