It’s exciting news for the fans: Are You The One (AYTO)? has returned from its four-year hiatus. The first two episodes of the Season 9 of Are You The One? dropped on Paramount+ on 18 January 2023 with a bunch of hot new cast, and Kamie Crawford as its host. So, as the TV’s once first-ever international dating show makes a huge return with 22 contestants from around the world, let us introduce to you Clayton Carey, AKA Tini, one of its contestants.

When Clayton Carey was finally allowed to talk about him being on Are You The One? he took to his social media to finally reveal why he had disappeared for a month a year before.
He spilled early in January 2023 that it was to live in a villa in Gran Canaria in Spain with 21 strangers to film the first-ever global season of this show called Are You The One? He explained that in 2022, he took a chance and flew across the world looking for love obviously. “The secret is out and I can’t wait for you all to watch this season of @areuthe1 global edition to see if I meet and find my Perfect Match”, he teased on the internet ahead of the show’s release. Also, he advised his people to put their feet up and get themselves popcorn because it is going to be a “wild ride”.
Episode 1 of the season, like old times, started with producers secretly pairing contestants into couples based on the results of a matchmaking algorithm. Everyone including Clayton was seen moving in together and trying to identify all of the perfect matches.
If they succeed, Clayton will be sharing $1 million with his competitors. Yet each time anyone guesses incorrectly the prize money will be dropping.

Clayton Carey works as a fitness coach and he even competes in lifting competitions. At the time of this writing, he is the boss at The Fitness Concept, a small group personal training facility. “We pride ourselves on offering an inclusive training space for all abilities, led by a team of dedicated expert coaches”, read its website.
Back in the day, i.e. before retiring, Clayton was picked up by Melbourne where he had representative honors playing for the state of Victoria and then his country Australia as a fullback, traveling overseas to play Samoa for the World Cup.
Then, after retiring, he was introduced to CrossFit where he found he could still have the community vibe and support of a rugby team, in a CrossFit box environment.
Prior to owning a fitness concept gym, Clayton also was crowned “2020 Boss of the Bay” as well as “Masters HQ’s Fittest Male” in 2020.
