Krysten Robinson and coach Rob Robinson exchanged their wedding vows a little over a year after they met each other. While they reportedly met in February 1996, they tied the knot on 11 October 1997. Rob proposed to his then-girlfriend in July 1997, according to Rob’s Facebook.

He oversaw a highly successful 20-year stint as the head coach at Notre Dame High School in Riverside before joining the East LA coaching team (1998-2019). The Titans won almost 360 games during the two decades, including six league titles, a CIF championship, three regional finals, and making it to the state finals in 2018.
He received awards for Press Enterprise Coach of the Year, SCIBCA Southern Coach of the Year, and Cal-Hi State Coach of the Year. Additionally, Rob worked as an assistant coach (1997–1998) at Allen Hancock and served as both head coach and a player for the USBL’s Columbus Cagerz.
