Meet Cody (Allen) Assenmacher, one among the lineup of competitors ready to challenge for a $1 million prize on Survivor 43. Cody is a self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie and someone who lives to get radical. He is no stranger to island life, his plan for playing is outlined by some of his previous favorite players.
He said he decided to go on the show to win a million dollars. He lives in Hawaii, and because it is expensive, he said, he could use the money.
Then, when asked who is one Survivor winner and one non-winner he identifies with the most, he said, the former is Tony, who he believes, has the fundamentals of the game of Survivor in his strategy, and the latter who did not win are either Ozzy or Malcolm.
As for his favorite memories from the show, he said, they are these challenges when people are eating some of the gnarly foods.
Apparently, Cody never competed in anything of an organized sport or activity like a real competition with rewards for years before coming to Survivor. So, he said he was feeling a bit nervous about this but other than that he only thought of being himself and having fun.
Of course, he also had in mind that his number one alliance is going to be somebody quite different than him.
Cody has a long history with Survivor. He even remembers the time the show first aired. His neighbors, he said, would come to his house and insist they change the channel to CBS and watch this show called Survivor.
As for Cody, he did quit watching some time after. But during the pandemic, he became a binge watcher again. And through watching it this time, he realized that he has got the skills to participate and win this game.

Then, one time Cody shared this story about his older brother strapping him into a sled behind an ATV in a frozen cornfield. This brother is Michael John Assenmacher. Based in Lewistown, Montana, he turned 40 in January 2022.

On Survivor Cody Assenmacher is introduced as elevator sales professional. While on his LinkedIn, he mentioned being an account manager of KONE, since June 2009.
Before that, from February 2007 through May 2009, he was working as a warranty analyst at John Deere. Also sometime in 2008, he worked as an instructor at Dongguan University of Technology.
As for education, he studied at the University of Northern Iowa from 2005 until 2009.
