Keith had reportedly become addicted to Oxycontin after rotator cuff surgery, per Perez Hilton. Only six months later, he broke four ribs and was again put on the drug.
Komo News reported that his cellphone was found in a muddy puddle near his house and his abandoned truck was discovered a few weeks later in a remote area of Skagit County. However, remains were discovered by a hiker a mile away from where they first discovered his belongings in 2012.
Authorities had no clue of what had happened to Jake’s father.
It was heartbreaking for viewers to watch Jake talk to the Harris brothers. Jake confessed that he felt jealous that they were able to bury their ashes at sea. He shared that everything that he was doing to the point was to make his father proud of him.
