Netflix premiered the first Australian reality TV commission a ‘docu-soap’ titled Byron Baes. The show centered around a “clique of trendy hustlers, musicians, designers, spiritual healers and artists” as they “grow their businesses, connections, and social followings”. It also follows a “feed” of hot #nofilter types as they create content amid fights, flings, and heartbreak. The show is based in New South Wales town in Australia. The show although new has drawn some criticism already from Byron Bay’s mayor Simon Richardson who labeled the show “offensive to the society”.
One of the cast in the show is Elias Chigros. He is a fashion model, amateur boxer, and personal trainer. Love Island Australia fans know him from season 1 in 2018.
The other casts joining him on the show are model and influencer Jade Kevin Foster, musician Sarah Tangye, therapist Simba Ali, entrepreneur Nathan Favro, radio host Alex Reid, sales director Saskia Wotton and her boyfriend Dave Frim, corporate employee Elle Watson, brand manager Hannah Brauer, and fashion entrepreneur siblings Jessica and Lauren Johansen Bell.

In the show, Elias first linked with Cassidy McGill. After the show, they were later spotted strolling through Melbourne airport ahead of a flight to Queensland’s Mackay. They headed to Mackay’s Movidas nightclub for an appearance, which they documented on social media.

Elias had also linked with Francoise Draschler. But, the romance fizzled out between the two even though they shared an instant connection. Coming out of the show, he was spotted locking lips with a mystery American girlfriend. He had geo-tagged himself in Austin, Texas.
Later, Elias revealed that he was dating model Effy Harvard. The romance rumor surfaced in December 2018. Elias wrote in the caption, “This was my first trip to Texas. Crazy to think of all the places we’ve been since. Can’t wait to show you my favorite parts of Australia.”
They posted a lot of pictures confirming the relationship.
As a joke in April 2021, he posted a picture of himself with three kids and a lady while posing as a family. He captioned the post, “Finally settled down”.
