An entrepreneur by profession, Nathan Favro joined the cast of Byron Baes. After the premiere of the show, Nathan revealed his reason behind joining the reality TV show. He told Yahoo7, that he accepted the offer to appear on the show to step away from his time on The Bachelorette.
He explained, “I was like, this is the perfect opportunity. As soon as this thing drops, I’m no longer that person. No one cares about an Australian network TV show when a global Netflix series comes out, they’re two completely different leagues.”
Nathan continued, “So I was keen to shake that because I’ve been trying to detach from that sort of thing for a long time.” Nathan revealed to The Daily Telegraph that he and his fellow castmates were “handsomely” paid. He shared, “We were paid handsomely, Netflix looks after you.”
Another insider revealed, “Talent were all paid the same out-of-pocket expense to appear on the show, which was less than $500 a day to cover off work and living costs”.
