Elsie Fisher began her career in acting at the age of 6 when she landed a role in the TV series, Medium. She later voiced Agnes in the Despicable Me films.
Elsie’s career peaked when was praised by critics for her outstanding performance as the teenage girl Kayla Day in the Netflix film Eighth Grade. As per his story, Elise was discovered at the age of 4 when she had gone to see him at a jazz club (where he worked) and suddenly jumped on stage and started acting. Besides Elsie, Nicole and Christopher have one more child, their son Nathan. Elsie and Nathan are very close to each other as the former often featured her brother in her Instagram posts. On National Siblings Day in 2018, Elsie shared, “Could not be prouder of the person Nathan is! I have no idea what I did to deserve this weirdo but I truly feel blessed. Thanks Mom and Dad for giving the best sibling I could ever possibly ask for!,” on Instagram.
Reportedly, Nathan made a cameo in Eighth Grade.
Talking more about Nicole’s husband, Christopher’s parents are Scott Fjeldstad Fisher and Farah Fisher. His father died of pancreatic cancer on July 19, 2017, while his mother is still alive.
Christopher’s father, Scott Fisher, attended school in San Pedro and received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music from Pacific Lutheran University. Scott spent more than 20 years teaching music and worked at universities (CSULA, CSUDH, UCLA, UCI) writing grants and managing research studies, often related to medicine.
In the early 2000s, Scott established his own restaurant, the Bread Basket in Idyllwild.
Christopher also has two brothers, William and Allen Fisher, in his family.
