Amid traveling the world, Emily Bieberly got an offer to teach English in the Chinese city of Xi’an for two months. So once in China, she was really excited about exploring Chinese culture. From what she said, she was not really looking for a serious romantic relationship. Then, one night in Xi’an, Emily was having fun in a nightclub when she spotted Kobe dancing a few feet away. She found him quite attractive and approached him later that night. Kobe was just as happy to make a new acquaintance.
Despite spending the night together, Emily had not expected it to be anything other than a one-night stand. Yet, Kobe won her over with his “charm and sweetness”, and soon even Emily could not stand being away from him.
When they first met, Emily already had just a few weeks left to spend in Xi’an. So, Kobe was quick to ask her to marry him. Emily happily accepted and a few weeks into their engagement, Emily discovered that she was actually pregnant. Regardless, she had to return to the United States soon after, and Kobe therefore could not be there for the birth of their son, Kohan, on 31 July 2019.
Kobe did apply for his K-1 visa, but the COVID-19 pandemic delayed it for almost two years before they are united at the airport. Kobe harshly states that he was taken aback by the amount of weight Emily put on in the time they were apart, and the rest should be history to the TLC fans.
To conclude, the couple does seem to be together even today. From what’s been documented so far on 90 Day Fiance, there likely was another pregnancy scare coming in for the couple.
