Dr. Down Below, which premiered on April 5th, 2023, is a one-episode special titled From the Waist Down but it would be no surprise if TLC orders more episodes. Star of the show, Dr. Fenwa Milhouse is a urologist and specialist in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (also known as Urogynecology).
Episode 1’s synopsis read, “Urologist Dr. Fenwa Milhouse treats a woman suffering from a painful labial cyst and helps a man who struggles with an extra pee hole left by a Prince Albert piercing. Later, Dr. Milhouse sees a woman with an advanced stage vaginal prolapse.”
In the 1st episode, Fenwa at one point said that she chose to venture into the urology field because it’s not about penises and vaginas. Rather, it’s about quality of life as Fenwa tells. “No one knows what urology is. People think it’s for men, by men… That’s not true at all. Urology is a surgical specialty that deals with the urinary tract… But because everyone has a urinary tract, we deal with men and women. I deal with everything down below,” Fenwa said.
