Country singer/songwriter Alexandra Kay officially tied her knots with her long-time boyfriend on 25 September 2021 in an intimate ceremony. The married couple had celebrated their 9th anniversary on 28 July 2021. Indiana Touchette and Alexander Kay are married after being together for over a decade. They met each other through friends, hit it off immediately, and married on 25 September 2021. The intimate wedding ceremony was held on A Pocket Full of Sunshine in Mt. Vernon, Illinois at dusk.
PEOPLE exclusively covered the wedding. They talked to the blushing bride who shared that the ceremony was everything she had hoped for. They had a wedding in the woods filled with florals from Renee’s Bokays. The ceremony was officiated by Indiana’s sister’s husband Tim Hastey.
As PEOPLE reported, “The pair also touched on sentimentality, incorporating members of their family and honoring those who couldn’t be there. They also created a candle-lit area in memoriam of their loved ones who have died, including Kay’s grandmother, whom she specifically honored while walking down the aisle.”
Kay wrapped a watch around her bouquet which belonged to her Yai Ya who passed away during the quarantine. For her, it was the perfect addition to the perfect day to remember her Yai Ya.
Speaking about her husband, Indiana shared, “I have never met anyone like Indiana before. He is truly something special. When my music career started to take off and we had to spend so much time apart, it was a true test of our relationship,” says Kay of her now-husband, who works as a union laborer. “In these times I realize how loyal, trusting, and dedicated Indiana is to our relationship and I knew he was the one.”
Kay also shared that constant communication was the glue to their strong relationship. They constantly texted or FaceTimed each other and had no issue even if they weren’t communicating for a while. “We know if one isn’t answering there is a reason and we will talk when we can. Don’t ever be jealous,’ Kay told PEOPLE.
After the wedding, the married couple enjoyed a mini-moon in St. Louis, celebrating with a pool and spa day followed by dinner at Carmine’s Steakhouse.

Born to Milton Touchette Jr. and Audrey Touchette, Indiana Touchette hailed from Millstadt, Illinois, United States. His father worked as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Belleville, Illinois. He graduated with honors in 1980 and accumulated over 41 years of diverse experiences.
Meanwhile, Audrey attended the Academy of Notre Dame, Belleville, IL. She worked at Millstadt Ambulance Service.
