Catherine Reitman is an actress, comedian, producer, writer, and director. She was a member of the Sunday Company at the influential Groundlings improv theatre and school in Los Angeles, CA. Some of her notable works were Ghostbusters II, How I Met Your Mother, The Ballad of Mary & Ernie, Family Guy, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and Black-ish among others.
She had also worked in VH1’s “Miss You Much”, and the web series “Breakin’ it Down with Catherine Reitman”.
In 2016, Catherine co-founded Wolf + Rabbit Entertainment. They produced the half-hour, single-camera comedy ‘Workin’ Moms’ for CBC. Workin’ Moms received nine Canadian Screen Award nominations in 2018 including Best Actress, Best Director, and Best Series, Comedy. The show also received two nominations at International Emmy Award.
Furthermore, Catherine was a featured speaker at the BANFF World Media Festival on panels such as In Conversation with Comedy Central’s Kent Alterman, the Revitalization of Canadian Comedy, and CBC’s Breakfast of Show Runner Champions in the fall of 2017, and at the TEDx Talks Toronto in Fall 2017.

Catherine Reitman is married to her husband Philip Sternberg. She has been married to her husband since August 2009. They share two sons Jackson Sternberg (b. 2013) and Liam Sternberg (b. 2016).
Speaking about her struggle as a working mom Catherine shared with The Wrap, “Yes. People are scared. We’ve all been trained that motherhood is associated with purity on some level. It is this principle that caused the identity crisis I experienced after my first child. However, it is up to us to retrain the public on the realities of motherhood. Besides marriage, Catherine was also ridiculed for her lips. It has been happening since she was a kid. Her peers used to call her “horse mouth” along with other rude names. There were rumors that she became the victim of a rogue plastic surgeon, and was helped by Botched doctors Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif. But, it was never confirmed.
