Insecure Actress Jaida Benjamin had gone missing over the weekend but has returned to her family without any harm. The actress’s mother confirmed to The Post that the family was “overjoyed and relieved”. LAPD confirmed that they’d located the actress around Ventura Boulevard and Colfax Avenue in Studio City — near where she was last spotted before disappearing. She was dressed in a purple crop top, pink jogging shorts, and white sneakers.
Jocinda Benjamin told The Post, “We didn’t get any sleep at all. My phone is ringing off the hook. I barely got two hours of sleep. But I’m relieved at the same time.” The actress was located at 2:30 AM. The actress’s mother added more, “I wouldn’t wish this amount of anguish on any parent or loved one. The country needs to do its due diligence to take better care of those battling mental illness. There’s too much red tape to go through just to get immediate assistance and support.”
As reported, Jaida was admitted to a hospital for treatment and was resting when Jocinda interviewed with The Post. After the actress went missing Jocinda had implored the public for help in a heartbreaking Instagram message. She captioned, “Never thought I’d ever have to make this type of post. My baby is missing please help me find her. I can’t breathe.”
The reason why Jaida went missing or was found remains unclear. Although, the actress reportedly suffers from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Also, many of her supporters shared that the reason behind her disappearance was related to apparent ongoing mental health struggles.
Earlier in February 2022, Jocinda had shared that her daughter shared the intention of taking a break from the entertainment industry in part due to personal issues.
