Jassi Fideaux, the new cast member of season 9 of Real Housewives of Potomac, was spotted with Mia Thornton and fellow newbie cast member Stacey Rusch. The show will feature Gizelle Bryant, Ashley Darby, Karen Huger, Wendy Osefo, and Mia Thornton but a few changes have been made for the new season which reportedly started filming.
It appears like Bravo has recruited another cherry blossom baddie to the RHOP ensemble after months of pleading for a new cast member. It is unclear if Jassi will be joining the show as a “friend of” or a full-time cast.
Jassi, like her fellow returning star Keiarna Stewart, will introduce herself to the franchise gradually as a friend. Mia presented Jassi to the other members of the ensemble. After only a few weeks of filming, Jassi is already causing a stir among the women.
The Potomac ladies got together on Friday, May 10, 2024, to record two events hosted by competitors Gizelle and Karen Huger. On the same day as Gizelle and Ashley Darby’s charity event for their clothing brand, GnA, to raise money for the National Brain Tumor Society, TV Deets reports that Karen accepted an award at a different event. According to reports, Curtis Graves, Gizelle’s father, who passed away in July 2023, was honored at the ceremony.
Gizelle felt betrayed by her co-stars, according to sources who spoke with TV Deets, when several of them chose to attend Karen’s award ceremony instead of her and Ashley’s. According to reports, Jassi, Stacey, and Mia were among the celebrities who chose to back Karen initially, which infuriated Gizelle. Not long after her three co-stars arrived at her event, the lone green-eyed bandit allegedly reacted by throwing them out.
The action followed TV Deets’ revelation that Gizelle had been the topic of group conversations due to her discord with her new co-stars in the wake of her BFF Robyn’s termination.
Jassi Rideaux Job
Real name Jasmine, Jassi, went from modeling and pageantry to snagging the beauty bag like a pro. With her premium raw hair extensions, she is the creator and CEO of Chateau Rideaux Inc. and Rideaux Hair, which are dominating the market. Jassi’s hair brand began with her family. The Oklahoma native revealed her “self-made millionaire” grandma sowed the seeds and even came up with the name in a 2020 interview with Where It Begins.
The first African American woman to own a legitimate salon outside of a house was Toni Rideaux, Jassi’s grandmother. The year 1958 appears on the Rideaux hair logo because her grandmother Toni began working in the hair industry around that time. Mrs. Rideaux always emphasized the need for her daughters and sisters to obtain licenses in order to work in the family’s own salon, Toni’s Beauty Salon, which is still located in the city of Muskogee in a building that still stands off of 12th Street.
Jassi used to go to “the shop,” as she called it, every day with her grandmother and numerous aunts to get their hair done.
Jassi started applying and wearing hair extensions by the time she reached twelve. Not long after, she discovered a technical school where, upon acceptance, students may enroll in a cosmetology program. She discovered that her grandma had attended and received her license from the same cosmetology school.
At the age of seventeen, Jassi gained admission to cosmetology school, graduated as Vice President of the Class, and obtained her license in 2010.
Her grandmother had painted the name Chateau Rideau on the mailbox of the family’s 10,000-square-foot house. The family’s last name is spelled in French as “Rideaux,” and Chateau Rideaux was renamed in honor of Rideaux’s hair in 2022.
Furthermore, Jassi traveled extensively while working as a flight attendant before starting her own company from the ground up.
“The journey of Chateau Rideaux began in Asia and ended in India. It took me about 6 or 7 years to birth Chateau Rideaux, but I’ve always been involved with hair in one way or another. I am a licensed cosmetologist and have been since I was 17,” Jassi shared. She may be an NFL WAG but is single. Darius Harris, a linebacker with the Kansas City Chiefs, and she are reported to be in love.
