HGTV’s Fixer Upper fans are aware of Chip and Joanna Gaines working with clients to rebuild structures that are in chaos and transform them into luxurious residences. But not many knew its behind-the-scenes’ leading man/executive producer Michael Matsumoto of the hit home renovation series. However, this is about to change now as we bring to you a ‘Jessie Matsumoto Bio’. Because Jessie is Michael’s wife, we are telling you all about her and Michael in the rest of this writing.
Meet Jessie Matsumoto, Michael Matsumoto’s Wife
Michael Matsumoto may not come that often on TV screens but even without it, he is famously recognized as the executive producer of High Neon Entertainment, i.e., the production company for Fixer Upper. So, other than producing iconic TV shows, he is happily married to his wife, Jessie Matsumoto, and they share four beautiful kids.
They tied the knot on the 19th of November 2013.
Even though we could get inside Jessie’s social media, Michael does not get tired of appreciating her on his Instagram @matsumoto818 (among 53.8K followers).
Michael is grateful to her for the role she plays in his and his kids’ lives.
The family made a full-time move to the community of Crawford in Waco, Texas (from Los Angeles) in February 2015.
Their home, set in a rural living scene, was a Fixer Upper project itself. It was featured in the season four finale episode titled “Colossal Crawford Renovation.” The gorgeous and bright property with a big porch was specially designed for the family by Chip and Joanna Gaines.
The family still had their house in LA at the time. However, Michael and Jesse were confident this was to going to be their home for some good years. They were having a great time watching their kids grow there until they realized they needed to be closer to Waco, which is 30 minutes away. So, in November 2018, the house was up for sale for $400 thousand.

Jessie Matsumoto is likely a full-time mom, with the least commitment elsewhere. Because she has a handful of young kids who needs her.
Jessie and Michale welcomed their first son Rowen Parker aka Ro on 28 April 2013. From what the father shared Ro has been such an amazing big brother to his young siblings and the best son to his parents.
The second to come around was 2-pounds-8-ounces and 11 inches baby Finn Harper Matsumoto, their “feisty” daughter.
The youngest are the twins, Oliver and Olivia who are also adorably known as Liv and Ollie. They were born likely in March 2017. (So you know, with the twins, Michael was not able to watch his wife give birth to their children. He had to fly to Denver literally for a couple of hours, just for the day and they were not expecting them to come so soon.)

Michael’s Job
Michael is an executive producer for High Noon Entertainment, the production company for HGTV’s Upper Fixer. In between seasons for one show he has worked as the “showrunner” for the likes of Survivor, The Voice, Flipping Vegas, and Big Brother. He says Survivor was the job that he had right out of school and the longest show she has ever been on. Michael even got nominated for an unanticipated Emmy for this. If you already don’t know, he has been an Academy member for years.
In Michael’s words, he is what they call the showrunner. He makes sure make sure this thing keeps moving along. As a team, they essentially build the show from the ground up.
