Stephanie Bluher is the ex-wife of John Bluher. They reportedly exchanged wedding vows in 1979 and were married to each other ever since. After the rumor of John’s affair with Taylor Armstrong, his current wife, a source revealed to Starcasm that he was technically married even though he no longer lives with Stephanie in Colorado.
The source added that John at the time spent the majority of his time with Taylor in Southern California. RadarOnline reached out to Stephanie but she replied at the time, “I don’t have anything to say to you. You can take it up with my husband”.
Meanwhile, she spoke to RumorFix.com, and said, “It’s completely not true”.
She added, “My husband and I have been married since 1979 and have three children. He travels everywhere with the work he does. He is a very hard-working man and not Hollywood at all He has one home right here in Colorado and that’s it”.
Stephanie added by saying that Taylor was a close family friend and she adored her. She explained, “She is a wonderful woman. She’s been through an awful lot. It was through a mutual friend that we met her, she needed help and John has been trying to help her. She even acknowledges John’s help in her book. I think her book will do so much to help women, it’s a book of hope. This horrible gossip is the last thing she needs right now”.
At the time, John also adamantly denied the dating rumor. He added, “There is no affair nor has there been one. Taylor would not have said it to anyone because it hasn’t occurred. Neither she nor I have any relationship other than my working as her legal counsel”.
He shared further, “I did not travel with her on the book tour. I was in New York on business and was invited to have dinner with her and a group of her friends and her manager Robert Thorne, who had to cancel at the last minute, while she was there”.
John also denied claims about him spending all of his time in Southern California. He added that the sources were making things up to ruin his reputation. He clarified that he was serving as manager and coordinator of all litigation, and non-entertainment legal work for businesses, and for her new foundation.
But, John eventually got divorced from Stephanie and proposed to Taylor in August 2013. They tied the knots in 2014 in a beachfront ceremony at the Bel Air Bay Club in front of 120 guests. Taylor looked gorgeous on a strapless form-fitting dress by Chagoury Couture with detailed embroidery.
The married couple followed their vows with a cocktail hour in the courtyard and posed for photos on the lawn. Dinner and dancing came next in the club’s dining room, where the newlyweds slowly danced to “I’ll Stand By You” by The Pretenders and Dobie Gray’s “Drift Away” with the help of a live band.
Taylor considered John her soulmate and believes that the universe put John in her path for a reason. They have an adopted daughter named Kennedy.
