Memphis-based rapper Young Dolph was killed and a name surfaced that is gaining attention as the prime suspect of the homicide. One of the killers is believed to be JoJo Splatt, an up-and-coming rapper from Memphis. There were few clues and activities that were related to the JoJo that pointed towards him as a killer.

Did JoJo Splatt Kill Young Dolph?
The suspect of the Young Dolph killer hasn’t been revealed yet. But, a few pictures released by TMZ pointed out that it was JoJo Splatt who took the life of Young Dolph. According to CBC, the shooting that took the life of the rapper happened on Wednesday afternoon at Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies in South Memphis.
Based on the revelation of the owner of the shop, the rapper had come to the shop around 1 pm and that’s when the shooting took place. Memphis Police Chief C.J. Davis released a statement, “This shooting is another example of the senseless gun violence we are experiencing locally and nationwide. Our hearts go out to the Thornton family and all who are affected by this horrific act of violence.”
In mid-November 2021, two gunmen suspected of killing the rapper in Memphis used a vehicle. The same vehicle was also used in another homicide earlier this month. The gunmen came and fled the shooting scene in a white Mercedes Benz that was then located by police on Saturday in a Memphis neighborhood.
Evidence was found in the car tied to a 12 November shooting in the city of Covington that left one woman dead and another injured. According to the report of Howell, in the Covington shooting, the driver of the Mercedes followed another car out of a high school football game.
Howell also reported, “When the cars were stopped at an intersection, two men exited the Mercedes and opened fire at the other car, striking the two women.”
Memphis police have released surveillance footage showing Dolph’s suspected gun-wielding killers outside of Makeda’s Cookies. Young Dolph had been purchasing cookies when the two suspects gunned him down.

Internet Rumors And Claims
One YouTuber (@woefree) prepared a video and made claims that there must be eleven suspects that could’ve killed Young Dolph. And the first on the list is JoJo Splatt. If it wasn’t JoJo who killed the rapper, then the person on the video claimed it should be StraightDropp.
StraightDropp has also been a prime suspect because he also has a criminal history. He became the second suspect because as soon as the internet sleuths recognized him and posted his picture on the internet he took down his video from the internet. They shared pictures of him at an abandoned house where the vehicle was used by two suspects who killed Young Dolph was found.
Other names that dropped include another rapper Big Moochie Grape who was throwing dirt on Young Dolph four days before he died. So, the police are currently investigating and the identity of the suspect is yet to be released.
However, JoJo denied the claim by taking it to his Instagram story. JoJo claimed he was not the person who shot Dolph. He also posted an Instagram story slamming the rumor. He wrote, “Y’all drag ni**a name in mud, plant sh*t on ni**A and some more! Dam y’all must hate that kid. I’m telling ya.”
