Lauren Harpe shouldn’t be mistaken as a feeble competitor just because she is a cute face, a sweet demeanor, and a modest stature. She signed up on Survivor to have a challenge for herself. As a single parent, she is doing it for her boys.
She told Parade.com, “I’m a single parent, and so my day-to-day life is just going to work and taking care of my boys and running back and forth to soccer practice and different things like that. I recently got a divorce, so I’ve been on a self-growth journey just to see what I’m capable of. So this is really for me and to see all that I can do.”
Lauren started watching the show with her father when she was very young. However, life happened so did break from watching the show. Now she calls herself the new era superfan. She added, “I’ve been watching these most recent seasons and binge-watching previous seasons as well. But I’m more of a new era superfan which I think is going to be really an asset for me in this game.”
For her, the winner and non-winner, Lauren picked Parvati and Shan in that respect. So what prepared her for the show? The answer was her divorce and becoming a single mother. the process taught her how to take care of herself and her boys. She added, “It was physically, mentally, emotionally, and financially taxing on my body. I’ve been through a lot mentally, and that’s going to prepare me for all of the challenges that are going to come my way in this game.”
Is Lauren Harpe Dating Anyone?
Per her social media, Lauren Harpe is currently single. She is still a single mother to two boys called CJ and Braxton and not romantically involved with anyone as of this article.
In an Instagram post on her life, Lauren discussed how she first got pregnant at age 21 along with her partner, who she had been dating for six months at the time. The young mother had to leave her final year of nursing school, but the two eventually got married. Lauren did her best to make the best of the situation, despite the unfavorable aspects of her pregnancy and schooling.
“My husband and I jumped from apartment to apartment, and most of the time didn’t have the funds to pay for our own rent or even buy groceries. We were irresponsible, living a facade, and broke. To make a long story short, my marriage failed after about 7 years. We divorced, and I became a single mother,” Lauren shared about her marriage.

She received a promotion to Academic Tutor in November of the same year.
Lauren left PAISD in April 2015 and joined Beaumont Independent School District as a Teacher in May 2015. The reality TV star remained affiliated with the institute until November 2018, when she switched over to Lewisville ISD. In July 2019, the educator also became a part of VIPKid to teach through the internet. Ultimately, Lauren left Lewisville ISD in July 2020 and became a part of Barbers Hill Independent School District as a Teacher.
